Mortal Kombat X is a 2D fighting game where you control characters from the Mortal Kombat game. You can choose from characters such as Sub-Zero, Reptile, Johnny Cage, Rayden, Smoke and Kitana to battle against other characters with similar skills.


 The gameplay is the same as on older consoles and the PC version; however, for obvious reasons, the classic controls have been replaced by a more intuitive system, where you have to swipe your fingers on the screen to hit your opponent.


 As you take part in more battles, your characters gain experience and you can gradually add new characters to your starting roster. So in this version there are collectible opponents in the form of cards and characters that you need to unlock.
